In September 2011, Kitchell was awarded a Hybrid OR Renovation Project at Banner Desert after an extremely competitive interview process. We were told that Banner was amazed at our level of detail in identifying their specific issues and coming up with solutions. The interview team promised such things as:  1. No impacts to traffic flow during hoisting, 2. Verification of imaging vendors cable lengths, 3. Invisible point of construction access, 4. Clean corridors, 5. No impacts to Cathlab Operations during the Air Handling Unit changeover, and 6. 100% Identification of existing conditions. This win is an example of how creative ideas, knowledge of a facility, shared input from other job teams (Banner Heart), positive client relationships, and verbal commitments can win projects for Kitchell.  In an interview “What You Say Matters.”
