Russ Korcuska returns to Kitchell as Director of Market Development

Kitchell recently welcomed Russ Korcuska back, in the position of Director of Market Development. Russ brings 20-plus years of experience managing commercial construction projects ranging in size from $5,000 to $558 million.

“Russ’ depth of experience within the A/E/C community, combined with his drive to deliver exceptional customer service and passion for quality excellence, will be a tremendous asset to the company and to our clients, current and future,” said Kitchell President Dan Pierce. Korcuska’s focus is on expanding Kitchell’s footprint throughout Texas and helping bolster its presence in multiple markets in Arizona.

During Russ’ earlier 18-year tenure at Kitchell, in which he excelled as a project director and project manager, he managed the company’s healthcare division and worked on such signature projects as Phoenix Children’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Barrow Neurological Institute tower, and Scott and White Healthcare – College Station campus.

Russ is a member of the Board of Directors for the Arizona Builders Alliance, the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce – Healthcare and Bio-Science Committee, and a Certified Professional Constructor. He graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in construction.

Vintage Partners to redevelop ’50s era shopping center

Vintage Partners, the Arizona-based commercial real estate development and investment company, announced its selection by Uptown Plaza Associates, LLC to lead the redevelopment of Uptown Plaza, the landmark 1950s era shopping center in central Phoenix on the NE corner of Central Avenue and Camelback Road. Kitchell is the builder for this project.
