In our 10th year, the annual Build Fore Good golf tournament has succeeded in raising more than $1 million for Arizona charities through our fun, interactive event that is made possible by our sponsors and “up for anything” trade partners!
Past beneficiaries of the sell-out event, which takes place every year at the Westin Kierland Golf Club, include Teach for America, the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Phoenix, Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Arizona Humane Society, among others.

Kitchell has always been a company that believes in sharing our success through philanthropy. Our Founder Sam Kitchell and his wife, Betty, generously supported arts and education institutions, with the Kitchell name prominently displayed at internationally known cultural destinations including the Phoenix Art Museum, the Heard Museum and the Desert Botanical Garden. The Kitchell philosophy of giving to the communities where we live and work is shared today by Kitchell’s workforce of 1,100-plus employee-owners throughout the country.
Today and every day, we give thanks that we are able to sustain Kitchell’s spirit of generosity, through employee volunteerism and our Kitchell Foundation donates approximately $1 million every year to charitable interests in Arizona, California and Texas.
This past September marked our fifth annual Kitchell Founder’s Day. During the month of September, Kitchell employee-owners mobilize to volunteer with nonprofit organizations in the communities where we live and work. Charities where we dedicate our time and energy receive donations of $25 per hour, per employee, in addition to the in-person volunteerism. Every year there are between 30 to 35 events in the three primary states where Kitchell has a presence, and this year there were 39 volunteer events. Since our Founder’s Day began in 2018 we have raised nearly $156,000 through these efforts.
Thank you to our clients, partners, employee-owners and family members for continuing this important tradition and for maintaining the Kitchell legacy of generosity!
