Kitchell was recently honored as the Business of the Year at the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Impact Awards.
Represented by only our CEO Jim Swanson to maintain safe Covid-19 protocols, the awards event took place at the internationally known Musical Instrument Museum, which was also one of the program’s honorees. The awards ceremony was postponed for several months due to the pandemic.
While we knew we were being recognized as the Arizona Advocate of the Year in the large company category, the Business of the Year honor came as a total surprise, but a welcome to cap off a tumultuous year.
“I couldn’t be more excited to have this acknowledgment of the impact we make in our state, and that we will continue to make into the future.”
The Impact Awards honor eight businesses in four categories and the positive influences they have on the business community and economy. The categories are economic driver, innovation, community and Arizona Advocate.
“These recipients illustrate the strength and determination of the business community, despite the unprecedented times we have seen in 2020. They embody innovation, business acumen, and community giving,” said Greater Phoenix Chamber President and CEO Todd Sanders. “These organizations make an impact in our community every day and will continue to be stalwart leaders as our city moves forward as a national and global leader.”
The nomination process for the 2021 Impact Awards is currently open and available at this link.
