Calaveras County new law and justice complex a year away from completion

Calaveras County is a little more than a year away from having an all-new law and justice complex on the Government Center campus in San Andreas.

Doug Evans, of contractor Kitchell CEM, which is the project manager for the jail and sheriff’s office projects, said concrete was being poured for the first half of the second floor of the jail on Wednesday.
