The Albuquerque Journal recently sang the praises of the new UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center, a new, technologically advanced community teaching hospital built by Kitchell. The 72-bed, 200,000-square-foot facility will serve the residents of Sandoval County area, and the Professional Arts Building at SRMC will provide primary care, specialty care, physician clinic space, out-patient physical therapy, medical education areas and the hospital cafeteria and dining room. A hospital like no other
In four weeks and one day, Santa Maria will have a brand new, state-of-the-art hospital when Marian Regional Medical opens its doors. The city will also have one of the most un-hospital like hospitals around. While the new $218 million facility will feature all of the latest medical and surgical equipment and systems, it resembles more of a four-star hotel than a hospital.
